That even sounds great through my crappy laptop speakers!

That sounds a lot like Chris Cornell on vocals. That's not him, is it?

First off Dave thanks for keeping us updated! The music and tones are sick and mixed well. Now I am not sure about the vocals if I am being super honest... I don't like the way they sit in the mix at all... sounds odd with the steller drums, bass and guitar tones. Just my two cents - I will follow this band either way!

Love Joe and love his playing but the Soundgarden vibe is overwhelming on this tune. I know Joe is very adamant about not sounding 80's because after all, the 80's ended 22 years ago. But, Badmotorfinger came out 21 years ago.

Obviously, Joe is a much better player than Kim Thayil, but......

He is really not adamant about anything. He writes and plays the way he wants to. Just one killer rock tune out of the 9 that are completed.

The song is great, its look like is tuned to Eb drop D.......which gauge is he using? I suppose that he is using somthing more thick than his usual 9's iT would be difficult with that tuning......
The tone on the lead sound with a touch of fuzz sometimes, its the Drive of his marshalls or its an added Box to spice things?
Yes it's very soundgarden which i like....

Statement from Joe.

Happy New Year Everyone!
It's been a long time coming. I'm really proud of this music and am excited about getting it out. So far everything has been done without a label or management and we're in the process of figuring the best way to put this music out.

I've been working with a great vocalist Robbie Locke and fortunate to have had Robert Trujillo and Brooks Wackerman guest on this set of songs along with song writing contributions from Brent Hoffort.

Stay tuned for more to come!
Joe Holmes~
