His work on Dee Snider's 2nd Widowmaker album is stellar.

he also has an album out with a group that cut one record, CPR. they do a pretty cool version of "back in black" with zakk wylde guesting on guitar.

I always heard he was one of the top session players...and yet..I never liked his style or stuff. He was by far the worse of all Megadeth´s guitar players...(IMHO) and in savatage... dunno. Maybe I should listen to Dee Snider´s album... :)

I was listening to that album as I posted the thread! Zakk Wylde also plays on I Wish I think. The tune E-11 is pretty cool too.

I think he was also on Tony Harnell's "Morning Wood", and I'm pretty sure I saw him live with a post-Sheehan version of Talas back in the day.

I remember when Al used to teach at Focus 2 guitars in Bellmore NY. I used to try to keep up with him whenever he'd come up to the floor and start whaling out...

He was in Alice Cooper for a while..

Yep. I remember this as well, albeit I was a bit younger...I saw him play with TM Stevens at a clinic with Joe Franco on drums there. It was Mas Coolio.

I saw him live with Alice Cooper on July 1990 promoting the "Trash" LP. He was playing with a black Kramer Nightswan, he had a beautiful round fat tone. It was a great night, excluding the "Trash" songs...

I did a rig for Al for the Alice tour he did. Sorry I can't remember what he used though. Might have been a original rockmod.
