Gentlemen,

The time is long overdue for our Denver/Boulder area ampfest. Based on preliminary discussions with a number of you, I believe we can pull this off at my home studio in Broomfield. I'd appreciate all who are interested to vote for their date preference in the poll and also post in the thread what they would like to bring.

I intend to document the event with audio clips (and possibly some video demos) as well. Hopefully this event will be not only fun, but informative to our fellow brothers in tone as well.

1 Fender Bassman cab with Eminence Governors

Pete-

Sound awesome.

I'll bring:

AMPS:
CAA OD100 Classic Plus (For Comparison)
TopHat Emplexador MKII (EVH Mod)
78' Marshall SuperLead (Cameron Jose HG Mod)
Cornford MK50II
Elmwood Modena 90

GUITARS: (Let me know what people want to see) Here is what I have.
TYLER (EVH)
TYLER (MAMYWO EVH) x 2
SUHR (EVH + Floyd W/Brass Big Blok)
SUHR (Reb Beach Floyd Rose W/Brass Big Blok)
Gene Baker B3 XS (Superstrats..Built by Gene Baker) Mahogany
Gene Baker B3 XS (Korina)
Don Grosh Classic

When you see (EVH) next to a guitar it means it is a med weight ash body with a maple neck and a PAF in the bridge.

The Floyd Guitars all have the Performance Guitars Big Blok (That spelling is correct...but weird).

CABS:
EVH 4X12 (EVH Greenbacks)

and I'll bring the Van Den Hul Cables...They really are remarkable.
The endless pursuit.....

I'll come just to hear the Badger! I honestly don't have a ton of boootique-ish gear, but I'll bring anything that I have that people are interested in checking out.

Available Amps:
Marshall 50w 1987x
Fender SuperSonic
Vox AC30
Fender Bandmaster (60s)
Fender Showman (60s)
AxeFX

Cabs:
Marshall 4x12 (greenbacks)
Fender Tonemaster 2x12 (V30s)
Heritage 2x12 (V30s)

Guitars:
Les Pauls
Gretsch (silver jet, duo jet, double anniversary model)
GMP Firebird

Effects/Pedals:
Psionic Triad
Cornish SS2
AxeFX
2290
H3000

Since my amps aren't particularly unique it might be best if I just bring my rack, that way everyone can check out some different effects units, the Triad and the AxeFX. I can bring whatever.

I'd love to stop by, but my weekends are slammed 'til the end of the year. If we can get things rolling before noon, I could hopefully make an appearance!

Sounds Great....

Who cares if you don't have "boutique" gear...I honestly love hearing people play through my gear. They do things that make me go, "Oh, I didn't realize it had that in it."

I am down too.

I simply have too much shit to mention....but I know I could contribute some cool pieces. I brought the Roccaforte last time, but some of the newer guys might like to try it again? Guytron? Bogner Ecstacy? THD Flexi?

so where are we holding this mega-event?

Looks like a pretty overwhelming response for Nov 3.

Are we going to need special insurance rider to cover the 1/2 million dollars of guitar stuff likely to be present?

Geeez, this is going to be a ridiculous display of quality gear!! I feel small and incredibly insignificant compared to what some of you guys have.

Pete, I can set my stuff up in the bathroom!!

OK - November 3rd it is. Let's do 12pm. I will PM each of you my address (rather not post it in the open forum).

I should have # of outlets covered, but it probably wouldn't hurt for each of you to bring some extra power strips!

So what time of day are we thinking? My preference would be earlier than later.......maybe a noonish start time give or take? I can do whatever time, but as we get later in the day I'll have to reschedule some other things.
